Terms and Conditions
Effective 22 October 2026 · Peasy Financial Ltd
1. About Peasy and this agreement
Peasy is a financial health platform operated by Peasy Financial Ltd, trading as Peasy, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17486535 and registered office at 4–6 Greatorex Street, London, E1 5NF. You can contact us at daniel@joinpeasy.com.
These Terms and Conditions govern your personal use of the Peasy website, web application and mobile applications. References to Peasy, we, us and our mean Peasy Financial Ltd. References to you mean the individual using the platform. You accept these terms when you select the acceptance box and complete your Peasy profile. We record the version you accepted and the time of acceptance. You can view these terms at any time in Privacy and data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
2. Who can use Peasy
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must provide your true date of birth and accurate account information. We do not permit people under 18 to create an account. Peasy is designed around UK financial circumstances. You must not create an account on behalf of another person or use someone else’s banking connection.
3. What the platform provides
Peasy uses information from your connected bank accounts and the information you provide to give you a Financial Health Score and personalised financial guidance. Features depend on the information available, supported banks and the current version of the platform. Peasy does not guarantee that it will identify every financial risk, obligation or opportunity. You are responsible for checking that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
4. Guidance, not financial advice
Peasy provides information, education and financial guidance. It does not provide a personal recommendation to buy, sell, transfer or hold any investment, pension, insurance or credit product, and it does not provide legal, tax, debt or estate planning advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Before making a significant decision, you should confirm the facts, risks, costs and eligibility with the relevant provider or a qualified adviser. Investments can fall as well as rise, and borrowing creates repayment obligations.
Peasy Financial Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Because Peasy's guidance is not a regulated activity, you cannot refer a complaint about it to the Financial Ombudsman Service, and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme does not apply to it. Any bank, provider or Open Banking service you use keeps its own regulatory protections. Open Banking connections are provided by TrueLayer, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
5. Scores, estimates and action tracking
Your Financial Health Score is Peasy’s own indicator, calculated using our methodology and the information available at the time. It is not a credit score, a lending decision or a guarantee of financial security.
Peasy Terms and Conditions · Version 1.1, effective 22 October 2026 Page 1Figures, classifications, comparisons and projections may be estimated, incomplete or delayed. Projected scores and scenarios are illustrations, not promises. Comparisons, percentiles and rankings are based on Peasy’s scoring models and the users of the platform.
Starting a Suggested Action or ticking off a step does not change your Financial Health Score and does not mean Peasy has confirmed that the action has been completed. Your score changes only when your financial information changes.
6. Your account and security
Keep your sign in details confidential, use a secure device and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share your account, impersonate anyone or provide false information. If you sign in through Apple or Google, their terms also apply.
We may suspend or restrict access to an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, compromise, unlawful activity or misuse. We will never ask you for your banking password.
7. Open Banking connections
To use Peasy you must connect at least one supported bank account through our Open Banking provider, TrueLayer, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Your bank authenticates you directly and Peasy never sees your banking login details. Access is read only and you can withdraw it at any time.
Peasy’s bank access is read only. We retrieve information such as balances and transactions to build your financial picture. Peasy does not hold your money, make payments or move money.
Connections can expire, need renewing or return incomplete information. You can remove a connection at any time in Settings or through your bank. Your agreement with your bank remains separate, and we cannot guarantee that every account or transaction will be available.
8. Your information and research
We use your information to operate your account and provide the platform, as described in our Privacy Policy. We use aggregated and anonymised information to maintain and improve our scoring models and services.
Peasy may use anonymised data to carry out financial health research, build statistical models and create benchmarks, including modelled profiles based on patterns across real users. Anonymised data cannot be used to identify you. Separate research choices are available in Privacy and data and do not affect your access to Peasy or your Financial Health Score. We never sell identifiable personal or financial data.
9. Social features, sharing and challenges
Your public profile and any financial measures you choose to share may be visible to other users through discovery, friends, the feed, challenges and leaderboards. You control what you share in Social privacy settings. We never publish your bank transactions.
Friend requests must be accepted before a connection is made. Other users may retain information they have already seen. Challenges and Squeezes are for encouragement only. Do not take financial risks to improve a ranking. There are no cash prizes or entry fees unless separate published rules state otherwise.
You must not use Peasy to promote scams, harass others, make misleading claims or share someone else’s confidential information. Report concerns to daniel@joinpeasy.com. We may remove content or restrict features where reasonably necessary.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of content you provide, such as your profile photo. You give us a limited licence to host and display it as needed to operate the platform and your sharing choices. Only upload content you have the right to use.
11. Acceptable use
Use Peasy lawfully and for personal purposes only. Do not access another person’s account, bypass security, introduce malicious code, overload the service, manipulate challenges, harvest other users’ information or scrape the platform. Do not copy, resell or commercially exploit the platform, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
12. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Peasy platform belong to or are licensed to Peasy Financial Ltd. This includes the Peasy name, logos and branding, the Financial Health Score and its methodology, Pillars, the guidance engine and its rules, Priority Areas, Suggested Actions and Action Instructions, algorithms, models, benchmarks, software, designs, text, audio, graphics and all anonymised or aggregated data and insights derived from use of the platform. We grant you a personal, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the platform for your own personal, non commercial use in accordance with these terms. You must not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, resell or create derivative works from any part of the platform.
13. App stores, devices and notifications
If you download Peasy from the Apple App Store, Google Play or another store, that store’s terms also apply. Peasy Financial Ltd, not the store, is responsible for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them in relation to the iOS app.
You control notifications through your device and Peasy settings. Reminders are for convenience and should not be relied on for payment, tax or legal deadlines.
14. Fees and paid features
Peasy is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in future. Before you are charged, we will clearly show the price, billing terms, renewal arrangements and how to cancel, and you must agree separately to any purchase. Accepting these terms never authorises a charge.
15. Third party services and links
Peasy may display information about, or links to, services provided by third parties. Any third party service is provided under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, and the provider is responsible for it. A link or reference does not mean Peasy recommends that service or that it is suitable for you. We may receive a commercial benefit from some third parties. Where we do, we will tell you before you proceed.
16. Beta features
If you use Peasy as a beta tester or try a feature marked as beta, these terms apply in full. Beta features may contain errors, change or be withdrawn, and should not be relied on for significant financial decisions. Any feedback you give is voluntary and we may use it to improve Peasy.
17. Availability and changes to the platform
We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or discontinue features, including our scoring methodology. Where a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in advance where practicable.
18. Closing your account
You can stop using Peasy and delete your account at any time in Privacy and data. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, use Peasy unlawfully or create a security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain why and give you the chance to put things right.
19. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law. If you buy a paid service, you may have a 14 day right to cancel, which we will explain before purchase.
20. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for decisions you make based on your own judgement.
We do not guarantee investment returns, a particular score or savings from following a Suggested Action. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
21. Complaints and support
For help or to make a complaint, email daniel@joinpeasy.com. Never include banking passwords or security codes. We aim to respond within 5 business days and will keep you informed if a complaint takes longer.
Because Peasy is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, complaints about Peasy's guidance cannot be referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Complaints about how we handle your personal information can be made to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
22. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will show the current version and date, give you reasonable notice of material changes and ask you to accept them where required. If you do not agree, you may close your account.
23. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. We may transfer this agreement to another organisation where this does not reduce your rights.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
